COLUMBUS - State Rep. Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati) today will give sponsor testimony with Majority Floor Leader Bill Seitz (R-Cincinnati) on House Bill (HB) 348, bipartisan legislation designed to pilot innovative strategies using financial incentives to boost attendance and graduation rates in Ohio’s schools.

"One of the most pressing issues facing education today is attendance, and we need creative policies that meet the urgency of the moment,” said Rep. Isaacsohn. “Rep. Seitz and I are aiming to pilot evidence-based strategies to get more students back in the classroom and graduating, on time, with high school diplomas.”

Rep. Isaacsohn and Majority Floor Leader Seitz will give sponsor testimony before the House Primary and Secondary Education Committee at 2pm Tuesday afternoon in Room 116 of the Ohio Statehouse.

Sponsor testimony can also be viewed live on The Ohio Channel.
