COLUMBUS –State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marietta) is pleased to announce that the Village of Beverly was recently awarded grant funding from the Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) program to support infrastructure projects designed to increase safety for K-12 students walking and biking to and from school. 

State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marietta) today applauded the release of $454,800 through the Ohio Controlling Board to support a loan request from Micro Machine Works in Washington County. The funding is facilitated through the Regional 166 Direct Loan Program via the Ohio Department of Development. 

State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marietta) today highlighted that the Ohio Department of Development announced the application period for the Brownfield Remediation Program will open August 11th, with approximately $120 million available through the program.

State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marietta) today encouraged Ohio families to consider purchasing fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, noting that Ohio-grown produce has not been identified as the source of the recent Cyclospora outbreak under investigation by federal health officials. Current investigations have focused on specific products and supply chains, including imported iceberg lettuce from central Mexico, not produce grown by Ohio farmers.
