Representative Kellie Deeter - District 54

State Representatives Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) and Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) recently introduced the “Enhanced Cybersecurity for SNAP Act of 2025.” This legislation works to protect Ohio’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients from the issue of electronic theft and fraud. 

Today, the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 64, legislation that will lower the age at which Ohioans are able to receive the senior discount on hunting, fishing, and other sportsmen licenses from 66 to 65, announced bill sponsors, State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson) and Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk).

COLUMBUS - State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson) and Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) introduced legislation Wednesday to correct what appears to be an oversight in discounts given to seniors for their hunting, fishing, fur trapping, and other sportsmen licenses. Their Seniors Sportsmen Fairness Act would reduce the age of senior discounted licenses for outdoor recreation in Ohio from 66 to 65.
